Can I be in any country and be part of the RedBalloon Days and GoDo Affiliate Program?

You can be anywhere in the wolrd and be a Redballoon Days or GoDo affiliate. However, you must either provide your ABN or, to reduce the impact of overseas transactions costs for both RedBalloon and our affiliates, payment in currencies other than $AU will be made after an amount of $100AU or equivalent has accumulated.

Can I change my RedBalloon Affiliate details?

Once you become a RedBalloon Days and GoDo Affiliate you will be given online access to change / update your details.

Do I earn fees on bookings I make myself?

Yes, you will earn commission in the same way that you would if your customer had made the purchase, as long as you have clicked through to our sites from the affiliate links provided.

Do I have to join both RedBalloon Days and GoDo’s affiliate program?

By registering you are automatically an affiliate of both RedBalloon Days (AU and NZ) and GoDo. You can choose which of these sites you would like to link to.

We will send you a regular email to notify you of any new banners, products and links.

Does it cost anything to join?

No. It is FREE to become a member of the RedBalloon Days and GoDo Affiliate Program.

How can I keep track of the fees I've earned?

As an affiliate you will be allocated a unique identifier, which will be attached to any of the RedBalloon Days or GoDo web banners or links that you place on your site. Each time a user on your website clicks through on one of these and makes a purchase, the identifier will register information about the purchase that was made. You will be able to view this information under the reports tab (found in top navigation) in your affiliate account.

How do I know I'm earning commission when my website visitors purchase from RedBalloon Days and GoDo?

You will be able to view your accrued commission under 'reports' in your affiliate account.

How does the bonus scheme work?

The sales commission level is set at 5%.  However, you can earn additional commission each month depending on the level of sales you reach during that month. Based on the sales targets below, you will receive the increased commission on any sales over and above the target sale price.

Sales target commission rates will be applicable only to the sales confirmed in the current calendar month, then reset back to their original rate at the start of each new month.

How much and how often do I get paid?

We will pay you a fee of at least 5% of the gross retail price (excluding transaction fees) for any RedBalloon Days and GoDo sales that you generate through your website.

To save both RedBalloon and our affiliates unnecessary administration we will only deposit amounts into your bank account if the amount exceeds $20.00 sales commission in any month. Otherwise it will be rolled over to accumulate with following monthly commission payments.

How will I know I've been accepted into the RedBalloon Days and GoDo Affiliate Program?

You will receive an email within seven working days confirming whether we have accepted your application. RedBalloon Days and GoDo reserves the right to accept or reject applications for the RedBalloon Affiliate program or revoke an existing membership at any time.

I don't have a website. Can I still be a RedBalloon Days Affiliate?

No. You must have a website so that RedBalloon Days and GoDo products and activites can be displayed. If you have any questions about this, please email affiliate@redballoondays.com.au

I have more than one website. Do I need to apply to the program separately for each site?

No. You only need to apply once. You can add additional sites in your affiliate account once your application has been accepted.

If I become a RedBalloon Affiliate, can I still participate in other affiliate programs?

Yes. However, we ask that if you choose to join our direct affiliate program that you do not join RedBalloon Days or GoDo via the clixGalore affiliate network. This will avoid any payment issues.

What about cancellations?

If a customer cancels a booking, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be reversed for any fees earned or paid on that booking.

What about overseas transaction payments?

To reduce the impact of overseas transactions costs for both RedBalloon and our affiliates, payment in currencies other than $AU will be made after an amount of AU$100 or equivalent has accumulated.
*Please note that we will be calculating the exchange rate on the day we pay you.

What are my responsibilities as a RedBalloon Days and GoDo Affiliate?

You can link through to RedBalloon and GoDo websites using any of the banners, finders or links available. However, you must not alter or manipulate any information or creative provided.

We will provide you with the tools and support you need to maximize RedBalloon Days and GoDo purchases through your website.

We take care of purchasing issues, sales fulfilment, customer service, tracking of sales and commission payments.

What is a gift/activity finder?

As well as banners ad buttons we also have gift and activity finders. These contain drop-down menus which allow your customers to select the state, price range and category they would like to visit prior to clicking through from your site. There are two types of finders. For the standard finder, the design does not change. We also have a finder that will automatically update on different occasions, e.g. Valentine's Day, Christmas etc. Both finders use iFrames, which means that the look and feel, as well as the product range, will automatically update on your site without you have to replace the code.

Where should I place the links / product pages on my website?

Ultimately it is your choice! You are free to decide where and how many links, banners and buttons to display on your site.

The more prominence you provide for the RedBalloon Days and GoDo links the more likely you are to increase your sales.
